Dr. Julie Owens received her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida.  She then pursued her Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University and graduated in 2000.  While at NSU, Dr. Owens was awarded the Luxottica Award for Clinical Excellence in Pediatric Optometry.  She joined North Florida Eye Care in 2000 in Lake City, Florida & also practices at their Live Oak, Florida office.  Her key clinical interests include primary care optometry, pediatric care, contact lens care, surgical co-management, & ocular disease. She is married to Ron Owens, and they have three children, Taylor, Allie, and Nate.
